DIGITAL RETAIL PARTNERS VIRTUAL POTTERY WORKSHOP
Digital Retail Partners (DRP), a Shopify-certified integrated design and marketing agency, was looking for a team event that could accommodate their remote team that spans from RI to TX, and allow them to unwind with a mindful group activity during the busy holiday season. Enter Pottery with a Purpose.

Details: The DRP team joined Sam, owner of Pottery with a Purpose (PwaP), for a virtual pottery workshop. We curated kits including a flowering air plant that were shipped to everyone's doorsteps for a hassle-free event. Participants took a midday work break and transitioned from work mode to pottery mode with some seated wrist + shoulder stretches, and a breath work exercise called box breathing which helps lower stress.
After getting in the zone, they learned the basics about ceramics from Sam, and about some of the therapeutic benefits of pottery.
Team members created two items during the 1.5 hour class. An air dry clay vase to display the included flowering air plant, and a pinch plate for displaying trinkets or transforming into an incense holder.
