Celebrating Juneteenth
As a team and as individuals, DRP is committed to open communication, collaboration, and responsibility, all of which are key parts of creating a more equitable and inclusive future.
To celebrate and honor Juneteenth, we have gathered the inspiring work of several African American artists and creators transcending the social media and e-commerce space with their crafts and art.
Élan Byrd embraces the beauty of imperfection with her art and latest collection with Lulu and Georgia. Give her a follow @elanbyrd.
If you are not following Liana Farmer, you need to be! Liana is not only an incredible artist but teaches visual arts in Boston Public Schools.
We have been crushing on Aurora James the creator of the "15 Percent Pledge," which launched in 2020 to give more shelf space to Black businesses in retail stores in response to the Black Lives Matter movement. Her sustainable accessories brand, Brother Veillies, features handcrafted boots and handbags that we just can’t get enough of. Did we also mention she is Vice Chair of The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA). Give her a follow!
